Here are a few key tips to keep your meeting moving smoothly: It is very helpful to always start on time and keep each meeting no longer than an hour. This will help insure attendance at future meetings if parents understand the time involved is limited, and you are honoring their very busy lives. Keep in mind this is the time to discuss major questions. Honor everyone’s time, by letting committe’s manage the smaller details. It is helpful to keep things focused and ask the speaker to keep on the current topic. When discussions seem to be going no where, summarize the main points and ask if there is any new information to share.
